Planned: Administrative Mainframe Maintenance - Hardware Move on August 4, 2018 through August 5, 2018

Service(s) Affected:

  • All mainframe applications will be unavailable, which include but are not limited to Payroll, Salmgmt, SAM, SRS, and SFSEASI
  • Web applications that interface with the mainframe will not be available, which include but are not limited to PennWorks, Penn-InTouch, Courses-InTouch, Athletics Eligibility Enrollment Review, Effort Reporting System (PennERS), Student Loans, Weingarten Learning Resources Center (WLRC), and U@Penn functions (e.g. My Pay,  My Tax Info, etc.)


On Saturday, August 4, 2018 beginning at 6:00 AM, ISC will be physically moving the Administrative Mainframe.  Applications residing on or just using mainframe data will not be available during the outage window.  All regularly scheduled production batch jobs and sequences will be held during this time.  The mainframe will return to normal operation at 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 5. 

If you receive reports of problems beyond the planned maintenance window, please call ISC Client Care at 215-898-1000 and follow the after-hours prompts if necessary.
