Unplanned: Cloud Control network connectivity issue on September 8, 2017



Update: 9/8/17 7:49 PM - The Cloud Control network connectivity issue reported earlier today has been resolved by Dimension Data.  Please note that the issues impacting the application's Mailbox Enable function are still ongoing at this time.


On Thursday, September 7, beginning at approximately 2:30pm, ISC's monitoring tools began to detect problems occurring within Cloud Control. ISC reported the issue to the application vendor, Dimension Data, who determined that the application is experiencing a network connectivity problem.

This network connectivity issue is adversely impacting many of Cloud Control's operations.  Please note that this new issue is in addition to, and different from, the ongoing Cloud Control problem that is impacting the application's mailbox enable function.

Dimension Data recognizes the critical impact of this connectivity issue and has dedicated all available resources to resolving the problem.  We will provide another update as soon as more information becomes available at the end of business today.

We thank you for your patience while both ISC and Dimension Data work to resolve the various problems affecting Cloud Control.  Despite this new issue, we have seen some improvement in the application's performance following changes implemented by the vendor.
