Services Affected: WebLogin Single Sign-On
Description: At 9:15 AM the single sign-on service began to receive more
requests than it could handle. This caused significant delays in the
authentication of users attempting to log in to web services protected
by PennKey. The spike in requests ended at 9:30 AM and some
modifications have been made to the service to better handle a
significant increase in service requests. We are continuing to evaluate
the cause of these requests and any additional mitigations we can take.
