Update /26/21 at 2:59pm: Verizon has reported that today's Internet issue was due to accidental damage to a fiber line in Brooklyn, NY. Verizon has also stated that they resolved the problem, and all services are back to regular operation.
ISC is aware of major Internet and application service outages reported to be impacting Verizon Fios, AWS, Google, Zoom, and Slack. This issue is widespread and not specific to Penn, although Penn relies on several of these services.
ISC will continue to monitor the situation, and we will send an update when we have more information.
