Brokered Products Portfolio

ISC's Brokered Products service is an asset-sharing solution between ISC and the campus. The service leverages economies of scale, allowing clients to quickly access licensed products that are managed in a central University portfolio. Product liaison support and consultation is available through this service for each offering, but technical support is provided through the service’s vendor partners.

Please note: Due to increased demand for Zoom at Penn, an enterprise agreement has been reached, and Zoom is no longer a Brokered Product. For more information, please see ISC's PennZoom Service page.

Adobe

Used by/Available to	Full time Faculty & Staff may be licensed. All others may have access through school computer labs.
Capacity Assumptions/Restrictions	License is not available to contracted staff or students outside computer labs. Go to adobe.com to order a subscription. Coverage is limited to 25% Creative Cloud for PSOM. Coverage is limited to 50% Creative Cloud for all other University (non-medical) locations.

Articulate

Description	Articulate 360 creator tools make it simple to build online learning quickly and effectively. This suite includes Storyline, Presenter, Rise, and additional resources.
Used by/Available to	Any Penn affiliate may be licensed.
Capacity Assumptions/Restrictions	The software can be installed on multiple machines, but its use of it is restricted per seat. If users only need to develop online learning content part-time, they can cost share by installing the software wherever needed and moving the seat amongst team member

DocuSign

Description	DocuSign provides a suite of services designed to help business owners collect electronic signatures and manage digital transactions. With DocuSign, you can send online documents to people who need to sign them, and then collect and manage those signatures.

Capacity Assumptions/Restrictions	DocuSign may be used for low- and moderate-risk data, but not for any forms that collect Penn high-risk data (including health-related information) (see https://www.isc.upenn.edu/security/data-classification) Currently, additional steps are needed to use DocuSign for any forms containing student education records (moderate-risk FERPA data): Each School/Center should perform the following before using DocuSign for student education records data: Notify students (or their parents/guardians if under 18) of the personally identifiable information that it will collect and share with DocuSign and obtain consent (from parents/guardians if under 18) before the student signs up or uses the DocuSign Services. When obtaining such consent, provide students (or parents/guardians, where applicable) with a copy of DocuSign’s Privacy Policy (https://www.docusign.com/company/privacy-policy). Keep all consents on file and provide them to DocuSign at DocuSign’s reasonable request. The above student education records requirements may be eliminated or modified upon contract changes with DocuSign at the conclusion of a successful pilot project.
