AV-SIG: Vendor Overview

We’re excited to announce our next AV-SIG meeting, where we’ll revisit one of the most talked about topics: AV system integrators!


In 2015, we held a first-of-its-kind event where we created a document that listed all of the integrators being actively used by Penn, and then we listed all the known pros and cons for each. Was one better than the others at small, quick jobs that had little complexity? Can you rely on an integrator for doing everything, soup-to-nuts, and complete your project within a particular budget? Do any of them excel in support after project completion? We sorted all of that out, and then some. We then held a follow up meeting in 2017 to keep it up-to-date.


Now we are looking to update this document again to keep up with this changing industry.

Anybody and everybody who works with an AV system integrator is strongly encouraged to attend. Your knowledge and experience will help drive the conversation. If you’re about to embark on an AV project this year, you don’t want to miss this opportunity to ask all the questions you have to ask regarding an integrator. As well, to help start us off right, we’ll also have Casey Scott from Purchasing with us to give the appropriate context regarding Penn’s annual spending on AV companies.
