Central Authentication Training

This two-day training covers how to use Grouper (which is used at Penn and called "PennGroups").
 
This training is intended for technical people who spend a percentage of their time working with access management or anyone else who is interested. It is a beginner level course.

Attendees will learn the advantages of centralized authorization, how to share access across services, how to implement access policies the "right way," how to visualize access policies, and how to audit who had access to what and when. They will also learn how to generate reports on access, how to attest periodically that the right people still have access, and how to de-provision access when someone leaves. One of the instructors will be ISC's Chris Hyzer, who is Grouper project chair and lead developer. For more information, please see:
