Please join us for the February SUG this Monday! This month, Penn Libraries will be presenting an update on ScholarlyCommons and making a call for collaboration on future activities. Penn Libraries made a presentation at SUG two years ago about ScholarlyCommons, Penn's institutional repository of scholarly work done by faculty, students, and staff. Since then, they have grown ScholarlyCommons collections and support, which led to the recent announcement that thousands of Wharton faculty articles have been made available on the platform. Now, the Penn Libraries is currently conducting a 9 month investigation that we anticipate will result in a move to a new platform or platforms for the stewardship of locally created scholarship. The Library is excited to share their plans and invite feedback and collaboration from the SUG community!
