This presentation will cover several technologies likely to have an impact in the upcoming year, compiling information and analyses from Gartner and the Technology Roadmap, among other sources. Topics touched upon will include blockchain, smart spaces, and quantum computing. In addition there will be a brief retrospective on the "Technologies to watch in 2018" presentation from January to point out some of the technologies that didn't end up as impactful this year as predicted.
