This month’s SUG will cover the Next-Generation Universal Communications project. ISC recently selected Vonage as the next cloud communication provider, and successor to PennNet Phone. Vonage’s Enterprise unified communications solution will continue to provide clients with the same quality of service that PennNet Phone has, plus optional enhanced features and functionality including a mobile and desktop app with messaging and audio/video conferencing. Some of the key changes of this service include:
- Cloud architecture
- Newer Polycom phones
- Speech to text voice mail message conversion
- Optional softphone app for your desktop or mobile device which allows for portable use of your Penn phone number
During this presentation we will cover Vonage’s features and will have a demonstration.
