Two-Step Verification enhances PennKey authentication by requiring a second step using a device in your possession, such as a mobile phone or key fob, to validate your identity. Many Schools and Centers across Penn are requiring their users to enroll in Two-Step Verification. This increases the security of users' personal data as well as data on Penn's information systems.
