ISC is pleased to announce an upcoming improvement to the AirPennNet onboarding experience. Later this summer, we are replacing Cloudpath with SecureW2 JoinNow for connecting new devices to the University wireless network.
The JoinNow App is seamless, easy to use, and works with all major OS platforms. When folks connect to AirPennNet-Help, JoinNow will guide them through a simple and straightforward process of configuring and connecting to AirPennNet.
Devices that were previously set up and joined to AirPennNet and eduroam via Cloudpath will not be affected and will not need to reconnect with JoinNow. Additionally, AirPennNet-Device and AirPennNet-Guest will not be changed and will continue to work as usual.
We are putting together training materials and documentation, and also plan to host several in-person group meetings, presentations, Q&A, and testing events to help campus IT Providers prepare for this change. Keep an eye out for future announcements for specific dates, times, locations and topics.
