This month, ISC is launching Penn Email Routing (PER) as a part of our Security Enhancement Project. PER will provide a more robust data model and management interface for email routing and metadata tracking. PER is an integral part of the move to Proofpoint for mail sanitation services.
ISC has tentatively scheduled the PER launch for the weekend of October 19 and 20, 2019. If these dates change, we will send out a follow-up announcement. This transition should be seamless, and we do not expect any interruption to email delivery as a result.
After this transition, all ISC-managed email routing information will be managed using PER. This change includes addresses currently managed by the Forward-Only service, which will be retired as part of this effort. We will send detailed information on how to manage Forward-Only addresses to the IT staff that have been using the legacy Forward-Only service.
