This notice is to inform the community at-large that ISC will be retiring the Jabber instant messaging service on December 31, 2017. The functionality provided by this service has been replaced on campus by applications such as PennO365's Skype for Business and Slack (for Penn IT staff).
ISC has previously communicated the Jabber service retirement directly to organizations that actively utilized the service. Additional relevant information regarding the retirement of the service will be sent to those groups later today.
