As some of you may be aware, ISC has been undergoing the process of evaluating vendors for the next generation of unified communications at Penn: a move to a more modern, cloud-based telephony service with an emphasis on mobility. We are referring to this project as the Next Generation Unified Communications project, or NextGenUC for short. As we continue with our evaluations, we want to take a moment to keep our partners across campus updated on our work.

As we continue to evaluate the two top vendors, we will be holding an informational presentation and showcase this Wednesday, March 20, from 2pm-3:30pm, in 3401 Walnut St, Suite 440A - Business Services Conference Room. Note that Suite 440A is now secured and a valid PennCard is required to enter. During this meeting, we will be providing an overall project update, showcasing one of our vendor’s administration portal, as well as a soft client demonstration if attendees are interested.
