As Executive Director of Application & Information Services at the University of Pennsylvania, Jeanne Curtis is responsible for planning, acquiring, developing, and maintaining the university’s core business and student support systems.  In this role, she advises university clients on the re-design of business processes and the application of technologies to facilitate business change.  She also works with clients to enable exchange of data between school- or department-based systems and the central core university systems. 

Jeanne started her career at Penn in 1984 as a data base administrator and designed and built Penn’s data warehouse.  Over the years, she held various positions of increasing responsibility in data base administration and data base architecture. 

She is a recipient of multiple Penn Models of Excellence Awards, both as a participant of and as a manager for teams that have won.  The Models of Excellence Award recognizes innovative staff accomplishments that reflect initiative, leadership, collaboration, increased efficiency, and a deep commitment to service on behalf of Penn.

Jeanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University.
