JoDe Beitler is the Technical Director for Platforms, Infrastructure, and Network Engineering in ISC's Technology Services organization. She leads teams of highly skilled professionals in the areas of database administration, networking, Windows & Linux system administration, and backup, storage, & virtualization services.
For over 20 years, JoDe has served Penn in a variety of technical and leadership roles. She began her Penn career in the School of Engineering and Applied Science before joining ISC in 2013. Her extensive technical background in network engineering, systems administration, and unified communications service management provides a strong foundation upon which she continues to develop customer service and leadership skills. JoDe loves to use knowledge from previous roles to add value as a translator, enabling better communication between clients and subject matter experts in different areas of the organization.
JoDe attended Swarthmore College where she received a B.S. in Engineering, with a concentration in Computer Science. While working for Penn Engineering, she also took classes there and completed a Master's of Science in Telecommunications and Networking.
