1. Identify
The identify step of the Emerging Solutions Evaluation Process aims to gather ideas from a variety of sources around campus. The process will be inclusive and can gather ideas from schools, centers, students, staff, alumni, common solutions group, peer institutions, vendors, etc. The process may identify small or large solutions in areas that span all of information technology. The process may use crowd sourcing to better understand impact of the proposed solutions and feedback of the process may drive new evaluations.
Depending on the volume, the process will prioritize evaluations based on a common sense review or perceived impact by the Penn community.
