Following Apple's hardware announcements at WWDC 2023 on June 5, 2023, the FY2024 Desktop Computing Recommendations for Penn have been updated with pricing frozen and processor updates for macOS systems. Some details:

• Pricing updates include adjustments for changes in display pricing and Apple Mac Studio configurations. For the first time, ISC is calling out a mainstream price that is designed to reflect a commonly ordered configuration within the range and types of systems that the overall recommendations allow.
• Processor updates for macOS systems reflect the introduction of the Mac Studio (2023) and its accompanying M2 Max and M2 Ultra processors. The Processor Guide has also been updated to reflect these changes.
• Dell OptiPlex desktop and Latitude notebook Collaborative Purchasing configurations continue to be built out to match the FY2024 Desktop Recommendations and the Notebook Purchasing Guide.
