Deploying Office 365 ProPlus
ISC and Microsoft strongly recommend that IT organizations deploy the Click-to-Run version of Microsoft’s Office 365 ProPlus instead of the volume licensed version. Microsoft has announced that they will stop pushing features to the volume licensed versions of Office 365 ProPlus by 2020. The best practice is to utilize the Click-to-Run versions for all Microsoft supported products when possible.
The Click-to-Run version of Office 365 ProPlus is version that is downloaded from the Office 365 portal (portal.office.com).
IT organizations that need to deploy Office 365 ProPlus to public computers (e.g., lab machines, kiosks) should use the Office Deployment Tool (see article below).
